The World's Best Bricklayer

In January we traveled to Las Vegas to watch Garrett compete in the Bricklayer 500 competition. It was very intense and Garrett scared us just a little bit, but he pulled out a 1st place win! He won $5,000 in cash, lots of tools, and best of all, a brand new 2008 F-250 pick up truck. We were so proud of him! While we were there, we had the opportunity to go to the Grand Canyon, and it is one of the most breathtaking sites we've ever seen!

The Greatest Place on Earth!

This is our favorite spot on Earth. It's where we went on our honeymoon in August 2007. It's just a tiny 1.5 mile by 3 mile island down in the Caribbean, a little island called Mustique!

Emma is in town!

My niece Emma was in town over the weekend. She grows so quickly and changes every time I get to see her. She's just so cute, I can't help but take some pictures of her!

50th Anniversary of Daytona 500 Trophy

Hey, talk about a once in a lifetime experience! For those of you new to nascar racing, picture this....your team hasn't won in 81 races, your owner has never won a Daytona 500, it's the 50th running of the biggest race of the year, and your driver wins the big one! It's the super bowl of nascar! Plus too, it's the only year it will be in gold...needless to say, a picture was in the works. If you don't believe it, check this out!
